100 Years Bauhaus
During the 20th Century, Bauhaus was one of the most impressive and most innovative art school in Europe.
Bauhaus is associated with the construction of buildings and is derived from “bauen” that means build and from “haus” which means house. “Bauhaus” is now connected with architecture.
This year, Bauhaus celebrates its 100th anniversary! In 1919, the architect Walter Gropius founded the Bauhaus School in Weimar, which was meant to change both architecture and modern art, as well as the way of thinking about how to live and create.
